Shhhh... Listen! Do You Hear The Sound Of October?
October went so fast here for the Voluntarily team. And in this month we have had so many changes and the momentum is pumping as we come closer to the end of the year.
We welcome our new whanau member “Cecilia Lynch”. She will be taking care of of the relationships we have in Voluntarily and is also a Project Lead.
Andrew is also here to give you the update of what we have been up to in October.

Harshani Perera
1. What do you do for Voluntarily?
I am currently contributing to developing features in the Voluntarily code. Before joining this project I have very limited knowledge about javascript and awesome people in this project help me to write code within a few hours during code-party in Auckland.
2. What do you have planned after Voluntarily?
I am not a person with very long-time plans, but enjoy my life at the moment. I started my job as a Java Developer in Biomatters this week and looking forward to work there.
3. What do you like about Voluntarily?
I do like positive Aura around all people participating in this project. I learn new things every day and expand my knowledge along the way. So the project gives me more than I do for the project. That is why I continue to work on this.
4. What do you do in your space time?
I like reading and travelling. I especially like old realist novels written during the mid-19 to early 20th century and have read almost all famous novels from that Era. My favourite places to visit are the beaches. I do like to take photos of sceneries.
5. What would you tell your 14 year old self?
Don't be afraid to take risks.
