July has been a busy month for the team here at Voluntarily. We have been busy with building new features and also having two big Code Camps in this month.

July’s Bio of the year is Janice Chan ! Read about what Janice does for Voluntar.ily and her answers to our FAST 5 QUESTIONS

1. What do you do for Voluntarily?
I help the Senior UX designer (Walter Lim). With support and assistance. And I also get taught by Walt to be a UX designer.

2. What do you have planned after Voluntarily?

I want to be a UX designer so I will be returning back to Singapore to attend a “International tech school”. After that I want find work in this industry.

3. What do you like about Voluntarily?
Voluntarily is a unique space for me to explore tech! And it gives me the opportunity to learn. But overall this space is unique which makes me want to be involved in something that is one of a kind.

4. What do you do in your space time?
What I do in my spare time is play computer games and prepare desert pastries and seeing people happy eating my deserts.

5. What would you tell your 14 year old self?

To be brave. And to not underestimate yourself. Because you are a strong woman!
